Flag QR Code Generator
Create a scannable QR code with a country flag. Choose a built-in flag or upload your own, test it in Scan Lab, and download the finished design.
This generator keeps the GS1 Digital Link URI directly inside the QR code. Premium QR dynamic redirects are not used for GS1 Digital Link codes.

Create a Flag QR Code That Still Scans
Quick answer: A Flag QR Code maps a country flag or custom flag image through encoded QR data modules while finder eyes, timing patterns and the quiet zone stay protected. Choose a destination, select a flag, run Scan Lab, then download the tested result.
How to make a Flag QR Code
- Choose the QR type. Use a URL, Wi-Fi network, WhatsApp message, vCard, event, payment, or another supported payload.
- Enter the content. Add the destination or information the QR should contain.
- Select a flag. Pick a built-in country or upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP flag.
- Keep the design clear. Use strong foreground/background contrast and avoid excessive effects.
- Run Scan Lab. Validate the exact flag, payload, and design combination.
- Download and test. Scan the exported file and a real printed sample at final size.
Ten ready-made country choices
The built-in set includes Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, United States, United Kingdom, India, and Pakistan. These self-contained vector designs are stored with the generator and do not depend on emoji rendering or a third-party image host.
Need another country, region, organization, or event flag? Use the custom upload option. Its artwork is mapped across the QR data modules through the same guarded renderer.
How a Flag QR Code stays scannable
A QR scanner relies on finder patterns, timing patterns, alignment patterns, format information, version information, a quiet zone, and enough readable data modules. This generator maps the flag artwork only through encoded data modules, darkens pale flag regions for contrast, keeps protected structures solid with country-appropriate dark accents, and uses error correction level H.
- The flag never replaces the three finder patterns.
- Built-in flags are trusted local vectors.
- Custom files are limited by format, byte size, dimensions, and pixel count.
- Finder eyes and every protected QR function pattern remain solid and high contrast.
- Scan Lab rebuilds and decodes the same configured result.
Prepare a custom flag image
Use a clean, tightly cropped PNG, JPEG, or WebP image. The file must be 512 KB or smaller, no wider or taller than 1024 pixels, and no more than 1,048,576 pixels in total. SVG and remote image URLs are rejected.
A traditional horizontal flag ratio usually works best. Transparent padding, tiny text, seals with very fine details, and low-resolution screenshots may lose detail when mapped across individual QR modules.
Flag QR codes for signs, banners, and national events
Use a country flag QR code on event signs, exhibition banners, storefront displays, national-day campaigns, cultural programs, visitor information boards, packaging, or printed invitations. It can open a schedule, map, registration page, menu, Wi-Fi details, digital program, contact profile, or campaign destination.
For a QR code on a sign or banner, download SVG whenever possible, preserve the quiet zone, avoid glossy or folded placement, and test a printed sample at the distance people will actually scan it.

Flag QR Code questions
What is a Flag QR Code?
A Flag QR Code is a scannable QR code whose encoded data modules use the colours of a country flag or uploaded flag image. Its finder eyes and other protected QR structures stay dark and high contrast so the code is designed to scan reliably.
Which country flags are built in?
The generator includes Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, the United States, the United Kingdom, India, and Pakistan.
Can I upload another country flag?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 512 KB and no larger than 1024 by 1024 pixels. SVG files and remote image URLs are not accepted.
How does the flag become part of the QR code?
The flag artwork is mapped across encoded data modules. Finder patterns, timing patterns, alignment patterns, format information, version structures, and the quiet zone stay protected for scan reliability.
Will a Flag QR Code scan?
Yes, when you keep the protected structures, quiet zone and final size clear. Run Scan Lab, then test the exact downloaded file with more than one phone before printing or publishing it.
Can I use a custom logo and a flag together?
No. The generator allows one branding treatment at a time. Selecting a logo removes the flag-colored module design, and selecting a flag removes the logo.
Can a Flag QR Code connect people to Wi-Fi?
Yes. Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network details, select a flag, and test the finished QR before sharing it.
How do I make a Bahrain Flag QR Code?
Choose Bahrain from the built-in flag choices, enter the QR destination, generate the design, run Scan Lab, and download SVG for print or PNG for digital use. The same workflow works for Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, the United States, United Kingdom, India and Pakistan.
Can I use a Flag QR Code on a sign or banner?
Yes. Flag QR codes work well on event signs, national-day displays, exhibition banners, storefront materials, information stands and campaign posters. Use SVG for professional print, leave a clear quiet zone, and test at the final display size and expected scanning distance.
Can I use a Flag QR Code for national events?
Yes. Flag QR codes can link to event pages, schedules, maps, digital programs, contact details, or campaign information. Follow applicable flag-use rules and brand guidelines.
Which download format is best for printing?
SVG is usually best for print because it stays sharp when resized. PNG is convenient for websites and digital sharing. Always test the exact exported file.
Does the uploaded flag leave my browser?
The image is sent with the QR build and Scan Lab request so the server can render and test the final QR. Only supported raster formats within the stated limits are accepted.
