Keep an accessible alternative
A hosted menu needs a connected phone. Keep a clear printed version available, use real text and headings, maintain contrast and never communicate dietary status by colour alone.
Own the information
Restaurants remain responsible for prices, ingredients, allergen statements, translations and availability. Review the digital and printed menu together whenever recipes change.
Test the final print
Use SVG for professional output, preserve the quiet zone and test the physical QR under the venue’s lighting, distance, mobile data and guest Wi-Fi conditions.

Restaurant Menu Builder FAQ
Select a question to read the answer.
Can I update my menu without printing a new QR code?
Yes. The QR code opens a stable hosted menu address. Update dishes, prices, availability or branding in Menu Studio and publish the changes while the printed destination stays the same.
Can one menu support several languages?
Yes. Enable the languages your team can maintain, choose a default language and translate customer-facing restaurant, category and dish information behind one menu address.
Can I add dish photographs and dietary labels?
The editor supports menu item photographs and useful labels such as popular, new, vegetarian, vegan and spicy. Restaurants remain responsible for accurate ingredient and allergen information.
Does WhatsApp ordering take payment automatically?
No. The supported WhatsApp action starts a conversation. Staff still need to confirm availability, total price, collection or delivery details and payment.
Which menu designs are available?
Menu Studio provides six supported layout families—Classic, Modern, Minimal, Midnight, Elegant and Luxury—plus curated colour presets that use those reliable layouts.
Is the menu designed for mobile phones?
Yes. Public menus use responsive text, categories and item cards. Test the published menu on several phones, mobile data and the venue Wi-Fi before printing.
Do customers need to install an app?
No. A published menu opens in an ordinary web browser. A connection is required, so keeping an equivalent printed option is considerate and accessible.
What QR file should I print?
SVG is preferred for professional printing because it scales cleanly. Keep a clear quiet zone, use strong contrast and test the physical sample at its intended size and distance.
